Allison Hossack

Allison Hossack, born January 26, 1965, is a Canadian actress.

Early years

Hossack was born in Steinbach, Manitoba Canada. She grew up in Killarney Manitoba and took part in musical theatre productions as a student. After starting her studies at Brandon University, she was a piano major. However, she switched to voice majoring. She then tried drama and later stated that she was only interested acting by the time she graduated. After graduating from Brandon, she studied at Banff School of Fine Arts.


After completing her college studies, Hossack performed on the stage at the Muskoka Festival in Ontario as well as the Rainbow Stage in Winnipeg.

Other World (1989-1992); Cobra (1993-1994); Profit (1996); Hope Island (1999); and Stephen King’s Kingdom Hospital (2004). In 2006, she starred as Falcon Beach on Canadian television. Hossack has appeared on guest shows like Sliders and Mysterious Ways. On the TV series Reaper, she played Mrs. Oliver. Deanna Campbell was also her mother Mary Winchester, and maternal grandmother to Sam Winchester and Dean Winchester. Hossack is also a singer and resides in Toronto.

Personal life

Jamie Ollivier was a stand-up comedian and writer who married Hossack.
