Alice Wetterlund
Alice Wetterlund was born May 16, 1981. She is an American comedian, actress, and podcast host.
Education and early life
Wetterlund was raised in Minnesota, and moved to New York City in 1999 to attend Cooper Union.
Career
In the late 2000s she began performing stand-up comedy. She also performed with the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre’s improv troupe from 2008 to 2008. This resulted in her audition for MTV’s Girl Code. She was featured in a parody TV advertisement for “Culture Culture Probiotics”, a “cure for diarrhea”. Cave Comedy Radio has featured her as a teacher in meditation and cat whispering.
Veronica Osorio and Wetterlund co-host the Star Trek: The Next Generation podcast Treks and the City. Wetterlund and Kevin Porter host the Maisel Goneys, which is hosted under the Gilmore Guys podcast. It’s a discussion about Amazon Prime’s TV series The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. She is currently playing D’Arcy bloom in Syfy’s Resident Alien.
Personal life
Wetterlund was married to Andy Haynes, a comedian, on 20 September 2011. They divorced two years later. [
