Lyndie Greenwood

Lyndie Greenwood, born June 6, 1983 in Canada, is a Canadian actress. She is best known for her recurring roles as Sonya on The CW’s Nikita and Sleepy Hollow series regular cast members. In 2013, she played the role of Jenny Mills. She was cast in 2019 as Dr. Elvi Okoye on Amazon Prime Video’s The Expanse.

Early life

Greenwood was born in Toronto and trained in dance. She is also proficient in martial arts. She has attended many Canadian musical theatre and voice schools. Acting training began at several schools, including the Professional Actors Lab and Jason Fraser Studios. She also studied at Etobicoke School of the Arts. In 2006, she received a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Toronto. She was first seen in Pinkville, a low-budget Canadian film. On an episode of The Listener, she made her television debut. Many of her guest appearances on television included Flashpoint, Flashpoint and Being Erica. She also played minor roles in short-form movies like Little Phoenix and Fists of Fury, and as Jenn in The Exit

She claims that this was her favorite role. She was also part of This Movie Is Broken. After the success of season 2, she was cast as Sonya on The CW’s Nikita series. She was then retained for seasons 3 & 4. She was cast as a recurring character on FOX’s Sleepy hollow in August 2013. In January 2014, she was promoted from series regular to season 2
